Queensland Deputy Premier Paul Lucas is awaiting health test
results after being admitted to hospital on Sunday night.
Treasurer Andrew Fraser, who will be acting premier all week while
Anna Bligh is on a US trade mission, told reporters Lucas became
unwell on Sunday and was taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital
in Brisbane.
Fraser said tests were clear and Lucas was now waiting to see a doctor.
Bligh returns to Queensland this weekend.
Lucas was admitted to hospital in December 2008 following a fainting spell while moving furniture during annual leave.
Fraser said no connection had been made with the previous health scare.
