The personal voicemails of Prince William and Prince Harry may have been hacked into by journalists for the British tabloid, the News of the World.

The admission comes from a senior police officer, in evidence to a committee of MPs who are investigating the widespread use, by newpaper journalists, of illegal methods of obtaining information.
