A Polish Catholic priest has published a book which provides married couples with a religious and practical guide to heating up their sex lives.
Fransican friar, Father Ksawery Knotz's, book is titled 'Sex as you don't know it: for married couples who love God'.
He says the book, which has the backing of the Polish Catholic Church, aims to sweep away the strait-laced attitudes many Catholics hold about sex within marriage.
The book has been such a hit with locals that the first 5000 copies were snapped up within weeks of them going out on sale and a reprint has been ordered.
Fr Knotz's says his book does not differ from the Church's view of sex and he discourages the use of contraceptives within marriage.
He also dismissed critics who question the competency of a celibate monk to write about the pleasures of sex, saying his experience comes from counselling married couples and from running a website giving sexual advice.
