There are reports a Taiwanese man has died of a stroke, which doctors say was triggered by over-excitement from watching the blockbuster movie Avatar in 3D.

The 42-year-old had a history of high blood pressure and started feeling unwell during a screening and had to be taken to hospital.

Many Avatar viewers have reported suffering headaches, dizziness, nausea and blurry eyesight.
