A nine-year-old boy has died after being stabbed at a house in
Bradford, United Kingdom, while his teenage sister is
recovering after also suffering a knife wound, police said on
Saturday (NZT).
Officers were called to the house on Friday after receiving reports
of the stabbing.
The boy was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary where he died of his
injuries. A post mortem has found he died of multiple stab
wounds.
His 18-year-old sister was also taken to hospital suffering from a
stab wound although her injuries are not said to be
life-threatening.
West Yorkshire police said a 20-year-old man had been arrested on
suspicion of murder and inquiries were continuing.
Media reports said the man was believed to be the victims' older
brother.
