Dramatic footage has emerged of the moment a freak wave hit a cruise ship in the Mediterranean Sea on Thursday.
Two people were killed, and several others injured, when the 10 metre wave slammed into the Louis Majesty.
The amateur video shows the wave smashing through the boat's windows, flooding rooms and scattering furniture.
The rogue waves hit the Cypriot-owned liner off the coast of north-east Spain, as it was sailing from Barcelona to Genoa, in Italy.
The dead passengers have been identified as a German and an Italian man.
"Louis Cruises extends its sincere condolences to the families of the two victims and its full support to the injured passengers while expressing its deep sorrow for the incident," a statement from the company says.
The ship was carrying 1,350 passengers and 580 crew on a 12-day cruise.
