There are calls for a safety review of tours on the Daintree River in Queensland after a five-metre crocodile attacked a boat.
Experts warn that the wild crocs have become familiar with the 27 or more tour boats that operate on a three-kilometre stretch of the river.
Rangers have been deployed by the Environmental Protection Authority to interview operators and assess what can be done about the croc involved in the attack, known as Fat Albert.
