Explosions were heard north of Yemen's capital tonight.
This comes as street fighting returned to Sanaa between a powerful tribal group and forces loyal to President Ali Abdullah Saleh, witnesses said.
It was not known for certain what was the cause of the explosion.
Fresh fighting broke out this week, ending a brief truce between the sides reached at the weekend. At least 120 have been killed in the clashes.
