Airline mulls over toilet charge

The boss of budget airline Ryanair is insisting that the company is serious about charging passengers for using onboard toilets.

The Dublin-based airline has been running a competition for passengers to come up with money-making ideas during the global recession.

A company spokesman said the fee had been discussed internally but Ryanair has no immediate plans to introduce it.

In the face of massive losses, the airline's pilots have also overwhelmingly voted for a 12-month pay freeze.
