Sunday: Northwest 20 knots rising to 25 knots gusting 35 knots late morning, easing to westerly 20 knots late afternoon and to 15 knots at night. Moderate sea becoming rough for a time late morning and afternoon, then slight at night. Fair visibility in showers, easing in the evening. For the Hauraki Gulf and Bream Head to Cape Colville:
Saturday: Northwest 25 knots gusting 35 knots. Sea rough. Poor visibility in showers, some heavy.
Sunday: Northwest 25 knots gusting 35 knots, easing to westerly 20 knots in the evening and to 15 knots at night. Rough sea becoming moderate in the evening and slight at night. Fair visibility in showers, easing in the evening.
Outlook until midnight Wednesday: Monday: Westerly 10 knots, dying away by evening. A few showers. Tuesday: Northerly 10 knots. Occasional showers. Wednesday: Northwest rising to 20 knots. Occasional showers.
Swell forecast to midnight Wednesday: East Coast: Northerly 1 metre, easing to half a metre today. West Coast: Westerly 1 metre, rising to 1.5 metres today and to 2.5 metres Sunday. Easing to 1.5 metres Monday.
