*STORM WARNING IN FORCE* Northeast 25 knots but 35 knots north of Tolaga Bay. Becoming southerly 35 knots this evening but southwest 50 knots for a time north of Mahia Peninsula. Easing to westerly 25 knots everywhere Sunday afternoon. Sea becoming high in the north for a time. Northerly swell rising to 4 metre offshore for a time. Southwest swell rising to 3 metres for a time. Poor visibility in rain, heavy and possibly thundery in the north this evening, clearing Sunday morning.
Outlook following 3 days: Becoming Monday morning southwest 35 knots and late Monday 45 knots with high sea. Easing Tuesday southwest 35 knots, Wednesday morning 25 knots and late Wednesday 15 knots. Southwest swell becoming heavy Monday.
