Rachel Miner plays the feisty and sarcastic wild child Astrid in NY-LON, Edie's flat mate and best friend in New York.
Born in New York in 1980, Rachel Miner wanted to act from an early age. Fast becoming recognised as one of America's most talented young performers, Rachel has won numerous awards and critical praise for her performances in Larry Clark's film Bully and in the Broadway adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank, alongside Natalie Portman.
Rachel has appeared in Sex and the City and will soon be seen opposite Orlando Bloom in the feature film Haven.
Rachel on Astrid: "She says what she thinks at any given time,
often contradicts herself, but is very true, as a friend
especially."
