Former Wallaby Andrew Walker is expected to join French second division rugby side Union Athletique Gaillacoise after serving a two-year ban for cocaine use while playing rugby league in Australia, the club's president Hubert Mauillon said on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old back, who returned to the National Rugby League then quit after a positive drug test while playing with Sydney club Manly in 2004, is due to arrive in France on July 20 with his wife and four children.
Walker played with Super 12 rugby union side ACT Brumbies from 2000 to 2003.
