TVNZ is New Zealand's leading television and digital media company. TVNZ has two commercial free-to-air channels TV ONE and TV2, and two digital commercial channels U and TVNZ Heartland and one digital non-commercial channel TVNZ 7. TVNZ also has a significant online presence with tvnz.co.nz, providing up-to-the-minute news, and entertainment. TVNZ Ondemand is TVNZ's online television catch up site, where New Zealanders can watch their favourite shows whenever they want to.

TV ONE

With a heritage of over 50 years, TV ONE connects New Zealanders with each other and the world. It has a broad range of quality programming with a strong slate of news and current affairs, as well as sports. Over 50 percent of the TV ONE schedule comprises local shows. It also features international drama and entertainment, as well as a range of award-winning documentaries.

TV ONE's target demographic is All People aged 25-54.

TV2

TV2 brings you the best entertainment from New Zealand and the rest of the world. It has the biggest international programmes including the top shows from the US studios, and a selection of top quality local shows. The TV2 schedule comprises a strong line-up of engaging dramas, comedy and reality programmes. 

TV2's target demographic is All People aged 18-39.

U 
U is TVNZ's latest channel, launching in March 2011.

Aimed at the 15-24 year old audience, U is social TV, featuring reality and factual entertainment programming. U can be found on Freeview channel 6 or SKY channel 16

TVNZ 7
TVNZ 7 is New Zealand's first local factual channel. With a ratio of 30% news to 70% factual and arts programming, TVNZ 7 enables New Zealanders to discuss, consider and debate national and international news, current issues, ideas and concepts.

TVNZ 7 was launched in March 2008 and can be found on Freeview channel 7 or SKY channel 77.

TVNZ Heartland
TVNZ Heartland speaks to the heart and core of New Zealand and provides a destination dedicated to the increasing number of New Zealanders who grew up with the 'early days' of television. They want to relive their favourite programmes and have access to other programmes they know they will like, be they from the last decades or the last year.  It is a pay television channel on the SKY Platform, channel 17.

Local content is particularly popular with New Zealanders.  TVNZ Heartland will provide a showcase of locally produced programmes that reflect the uniqueness of being a Kiwi, and tell the stories of our country.

TVNZ Heartlands target demographic is AP40-64

TVNZ Kidzone24
TVNZ Kidzone24 is a brand new 24 hour pre-school children's channel on the SKY platform. TVNZ Kidzone24 will be the only locally produced children's channel and will feature trusted educational and inspiring content in an advertising-free environment.

TVNZ Kidzone24 will feature existing favourites including Kidzone with Kayne and The Wotwots, as well as new content with a learning focus.

The channel will be located on SKY Channel 046, within the stable of family channels and will be available as part of the SKY Basic Digital Package. Select content will also be available on iSKY and TVNZ Ondemand.

TVNZ Kidzone24 launches 1 May.


TVNZ.CO.NZ

TVNZ's website is New Zealanders' world of news and entertainment. It is one of New Zealand's top sites*, providing up-to-the-minute news updates and video footage, as well as a range of entertainment including information about TVNZ's programmes, message boards and interactive content.

TVNZ Ondemand

TVNZ was the first broadcaster in Australasia to launch an online television catch up service. Since its inception in 2007, TVNZ Ondemand has continued to grow in popularity, with over 250,000** New Zealanders using the site every month to catch up on their favourite TVNZ shows.
