TVNZ Community Support Foundation

For a number of years TVNZ has operated its Community Support Foundation providing selected charities with free advertising airtime.  This year, TVNZ has selected Water Safety New Zealand as the sole recipient of TVNZs free air time.
 
Having fun in, on and around water is a significant part of the New Zealand way of life. We want to encourage people to get active and enjoy water based activity, but we want them to be safe. Thats why we have teamed up with NZ Post to launch a national communications campaign to raise awareness of the need for water safety skills. 
 

TVNZ will provide Water Safety NZ with up to $100,000 of free air time each month to raise the profile of their work. It is the largest grant TVNZ has made to a single charity.
