The TVNZ NetGuide Schools Web Challenge competition is designed
to make using the internet fun - and the 2008 competition was a
massive success!
By promoting the use of technology and the internet to students and
teachers, and by helping to lift the profile of ICT in schools,
this annual event is an investment in the future of young New
Zealanders.

video about it.
Just like last year, there are 3 entry levels in 2008: Primary,
Intermediate and Secondary schools. Entries can be from a team of
three, a whole class, and on an individual basis at intermediate
and secondary school levels.
The entry theme for 2008 is What We Learned. Entrants are requested to design a website on a topic in their school curriculum, with the view to educating other students about this topic. This competition has the dual benefit of making the existing curriculum more fun, while also encouraging the use of the internet as a learning and teaching tool.
Here are the details of the winners - and the runners-up- plus your chance to take a look at their sites!
