Fiji winger Rupeni Caucaunibuca's future with French side Agen is in serious doubt after he failed to return to the club from Fiji.
Caucau has been absent unexcused from pre-season training since July 10.
But Caucau is reported to have been in hospital in Fiji after contracting a virus, but has since been discharged and was due to turn up in France to return to competitive rugby.
However, Caucau apparently never got on the plane, and his agent has now flown to Fiji to clear the matter up.
The winger's future still looks uncertain though with the Agen general manager saying they can cope without him.
