Chelsea's billionaire Russian owner Roman Abramovich is set to bid 150 million euros for AC Milan's playmaker Kaka. The offer, if accepted would be the biggest in transfer history. (Various)
Robinho turns down Blues
It seems that more people are wanting to leave Chelsea than head to the London club at the moment with Real Madrid's Robinho the latest to turn down a move to the Blues after he told reporters he is 'happy' at the La Liga club and wants to stay at Real Madrid 'for a long time.' (Reuters)
A lorra offers for Eto'o

Mourinho will wait for Lampard
It seems Jose Mourinho has resigned himself to the fact that he will have to wait a little while longer to be reunited with old pal Frank Lampard. In an interview with Portuguese TV, Mourinho said it would be easier for Lamps to play out the remainder of his one-year contract with Chelsea than leave now - but he hasn't ruled out the possibility of bringing Quaresma to the Italian side. Rafa confident of Keane deal
Rafa Benitez and Liverpool believe Tottenham's decision to report the club to the Premier League over their reported tapping of Robbie Keane will come to nothing and that a deal bringing the star to Anfield will be struck next week. (Telegraph)

Spurs ready to splash the cash for Arshavin
Zenit St Petersburg has claimed that Tottenham are interested in signing Andrei Arshavin for a reported 16million pounds.
But Zenit's sporting director has dismissed the claims saying "This English club is really interested in acquiring Andrei but, as I understand, 27 million Euros (21.5 million) is too high a price for them. (Daily Mirror)
But reports suggest that Tottenham boss Juande Ramos will spend the 57m from the sale of Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov elsewhere like, strikers Diego Milito (Real Zaragoza) Roman Pavlyuchenko (Spartak Moscow) and wingers David Bentley (Blackburn) and Diego Capel (Sevilla) (BBC)
Blackburn concede Bentley will go
Blackburn Rovers have resigned themselves to losing Ewood star David Bentley, but not until his asking price is met. Both Tottenham and Villa have failed in their bids for Bentley with Blackburn reported to be seeking about 18million for the former Arsenal player. (Guardian)

Fergie tells Ronaldo he'd be mad to leave Manchester
United boss Alex Ferguson has insisted that Cristiano Ronaldo would be making a big mistake if he leaves Manchester for Madrid. Ferguson has already told the Portugal winger that he must honour the remaining four years of his contract and told reporters that Ronaldo "Knows genuinely what the best club is for him - Manchester United." Ronaldinho gets 80
New AC Milan signing Ronaldinho has been told he will wear the number 80 on his new Milan football shirt. The Brazil forward originally wanted the no.10 but Clarence Seedorf made it clear he would not give up his number for no-one. (Reuters)

Liverpool's Steven Gerrard might have been sent home from the Red's training camp in Switzerland with a groin injury but he will be cheered up on Friday as he is set to receive an Honorary Fellowship from Liverpool's John Moores University for his services to sport. (BBC Sport)
