Vodafone will launch the new iPhone 3G in stores on Friday, and though you may only pay $199 for it on a mobile plan, you will be paying between $80 and $250 a month for that plan.
The phone company announced full price and plan details for the iPhone on Wednesday.
The iPhone 250MB plan will cost $80 a month, the 500MB plan will cost $130 and the 1GB plan will cost $250. The plans all include 600 texts and between 120 and 600 minutes of voice calls. There will be an additional cost per MB of 10cents for the 250 and 500 MB plan and 3 cents for the 1GB plan.
An estimated 3000 people are already using hacked iPhones on the
Vodafone network, but this is its first legitimate NZ
release.
Vodafone's agreement with Apple to sell the device is not
exclusive, meaning Telecom and other providers could provide
competitive plans for the phone in coming months.

plan?
