Just weeks out from her first main draw appearance at a grand slam, New Zealand's top tennis player Marina Erakovic has received more good news.

With a career high world ranking of 80 Erakovic has gained direct acceptance to Wimbledon's main draw for the first time.

Even if she loses in the first round Erakovic will earn nearly $30, 000.

She's also been accepted to the doubles main draw for both the up-coming French Open and Wimbledon.

She'll play doubles with Dutchwoman Michaella Krajicek with whom she won the 2004 US Open junior doubles title.

Erakovic is preparing for the French Open at a tier three event in Istanbul next week.
