Mark Walker-trained Vercors looks set to bounce back to top form in the $30,000 Waharoa Industrial Park 1600 at Saturday's Matamata race-meeting at Matamata.

Vercors has disappointed a shade in recent starts but has been racing in stronger fields and this line-up is not as formidable. One of the prime candidates here to include in combinations.

Desert Flight is racing on his home track and despite his years he has lost none of his competitive edge. He won his last start with some authority and will be a real chance to keep on side.

All's Well will be one of the best prospects on paper as he ran a good fourth last time. Has to be watched closely.

Casali and Kirra Sand will also be very popular choices with punters.
