West Auckland police have found the vehicle involved in the kidnap of a pregnant New Lynn woman.
The 28-year-old was assaulted by two men and bundled into the back of her Isuzu Bighorn on Friday afternoon.
The woman was found later that evening dumped in Rosebank Road in the suburb of Avondale, where she had been thrown from the car upon regaining consciousness.
Despite her waters breaking from the violent treatment, she has been discharged from hospital and told her baby is fine.
Detective Sergeant Peter Litherland says anyone who may have seen the vehicle between Friday night and Sunday morning should contact them. It was found in Eastdale Road in Avondale.
