Hobbit decision good for NZ

The film industry is looking forward to a big boost with the news two films based on Tolkien's The Hobbit are going to be made in NZ.

Talent agent Robert Bruce says NZ has fought off strong competition to get the movies and Lord of The Rings director Peter Jackson deserves a lot of credit.

Bruce says Jackson's investment in NZ film making means the facilities exist to make big budget films.
