New stadium constructed in partnership with China to replace the Antigua Recreation Ground. 

Antigua is part of the Leeward Islands and, along with Barbuda, has a population of around 68,000. 


BARBADOS - Kensington Oval, Bridgetown

Capacity - 28,000
Matches  - Super 8 and final

Major refurbishment. Hosted West Indies' first test in 1929-30 and first one-day international in 1984-85 

BARBADOS - 3Ws Oval, Bridgetown

Capacity - 3,000

New venue. Barbados, the eastern-most island in the Caribbean, was first occupied by the British in 1627 and gained full independence in 1966. 


GRENADA  - Queens Park,
St George's

Stadium rebuilt after it was damaged in 2004 by Hurricane Ivan, which ripped through much of the island. 

GUYANA   - Providence Stadium, Providence (Guyana National Stadium)

New stadium on fresh site on the outskirts of the capital Georgetown, which will be used instead of Bourda which was built in 1884. 

Part of the South American mainland, Guyana was discovered by Europeans in 1498. The Spanish, French, Dutch and British all fought for control. 


JAMAICA  - Sabina Park, Kingston

Capacity - 21,000
Matches  - Opening match, group stage, semi-final

Major upgrade to venue which hosted first test in 1930 and first one-day international in 1984 


JAMAICA  - Trelawny Stadium. Trelawny

Capacity - 25,000
Matches  - Warm-ups and opening ceremony

New stadium built in partnership with China. 

The island is the third biggest English-speaking nation in the Americas after the United States and Canada. 


ST KITTS - Warner Park Stadium, Basseterre

Capacity - 10,000
Matches  - Group stage

First of the new World Cup stadiums to open. Hosted a test and one-day international against India in 2006. 

The island has a population of around 31,880. Unemployment in St. Kitts-Nevis is among the lowest in the Caribbean. 


ST LUCIA - Beausejour Stadium ,
Gros Islet 

Capacity - 20,000
Matches  - Group stage and semi-final

Temporary stands to boost the capacity. The main languages are English and Creole, although French and Spanish are also spoken on St Lucia. 


ST VINCENT - Arnos Vale, Kingstown

Capacity   - 12,000
Matches    - Warm-ups

Major renovation. The island has also been known as Hairoun or "land of the blessed". 


TRINIDAD - Queens Park Oval,
Port of Spain

Capacity - 25,000
Matches  - Group stage

Oldest ground in the Caribbean, minor upgrade.
 

TRINIDAD - University of West Indies Ground

Capacity - Approximately 4,000
Matches  - Warm-ups 

Along with smaller island Tobago, Trinidad has a population of around 1.3 million.
