Good Morning is a live weekday magazine lifestyle show. It is shot at Avalon studios in Wellington and screens from 9am to 12 pm weekdays on TV One. It is hosted by Sarah Bradley and Brendon Pongia.
Good Morning features a broad range of regular segments, celebrity interviews and competitions. Regular segments include the environment with Nic Vallance, gardening with Heather Tait Collins, movies, DVD reviews and gossip with Steve Gray, life coaching with Andrea Molloy, music reviews with Simon Sweetman, law with Bill Bevan, fashion and beauty with Sally-ann Moffat, psychic matters with Sue Nicholson and many, many more.
Good Morning has something for everyone.
Celebrity interviews are a major part of Good Morning. Guests this last year have included Phil Keoghan from the Amazing Race, Ben Elton, Ben Mitchell, Helen Clark, Bridie Carter from McLeods Daughters, Stephen Lovatt from Neighbours and Dancing with the Stars winner Lorraine Downes.
Every day in the Good Morning kitchen we whip up a storm. Chefs include Good Mornings resident superstar Astar who cooks every Wednesday, as well as doing crafts each Thursday. Guest chefs include Martin Bosley, restaurateur Simon Gault and Adam Newell from Zibbibo. Celebrities also clamour to get into the Good Morning kitchen to cook and last year some of our guest cooks included All-Black Jerry Collins, comedian Mike King, mountain runner Kate McIlroy and actress Kerry Fox.
Music is very much a part of Good Morning and is featured every week. Guests this last year have included Donny Osmond, Nesian Mystik, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, 10CC, Stomp, Sir Howard Morrison and Dame Malvina Major, Anika Moa, Donald Reid, Tim Beveridge, Yulia and Carly Binding.
Good Morning is a fun-filled, interesting way to spend a pleasant morning.
THE HOSTS
Television reporter Sarah Bradley and former Tall Black and radio host Brendon Pongia are the co-hosts of TV ONE's magazine lifestyle programme Good Morning.
Sarah Bradley has extensive experience as a television reporter and presenter, as well as being an accomplished actress and singer. Raised in Auckland and Wellington, she lived in New York for 10 years after completing a finance and marketing degree at Waikato University. She launched her television reporting career in New York, including working for CNN Financial News, before returning to New Zealand in 2001 to work as a business reporter.
Brendon Pongia played basketball with the Tall Blacks for nearly a decade, before going on to work as a sports presenter, reporting courtside and commentating, and a radio host. He has a degree in marketing.
