Robbie Deans
Crusaders coach Robbie Deans is off to the darkside, off to coach our great rivals the Wallabies. We catch up with Peter Fitzsimons to hear what the Aussies think of the latest Kiwi import.

One Woman's Search
Were you in Di Lusso bar in Dunedin on the 29th August this year?  And if you were did you meet a finnish lady called Piia?  If you did you could be in for a little surprise. Piia Makila has launched an international search. It turns out Piia is pregnant and she'd like to let the father of her baby know. She doesn't remember much. He's 28,  about 175 cm tall with a good body and nice eyes. Piia doesn't want charity, she just wants to be able to tell her child she did everything she could to find the father. Mark Sainsbury spoke to Piia in Helsinki earlier today and asked her what happened?

Toa Fraser
Twenty thousand kilometres away, in the middle of an English winter, a New Zealand film crew is in the process of pulling off something of a coup. Young Kiwi director Toa Fraser is making a surreal British comedy, staring New Zealand's Sam Neill, and the legendary British actor Peter O'toole, whose performance as Lawrence of Arabia has been voted the greatest in cinema history.  Toa's directed only one other film, Number 2, a typical Kiwi tale set in a Mt Roskill back yard. This latest venture, a film called "My Talks with Dean Spanley"  is a step out of his comfort zone.  Sarah Stewart was allowed on set in Norfolk, England, to see how the unique tale is coming along.

NZSO
While US funded productions such as Lord of the Rings and King Kong might have put New Zealand on the Hollywood map, for New Zealand film makers, getting your films funded and made locally is still a struggle. Even for a modest film it's not cheap, and at the end of production there can be very little left in the budget for music. But a new sponsorship deal means from this year on, one film per year will get the services of the New Zealand symphony orchestra, for free.

Mosimani
We have some great news to share about Mosimani the twelve year old who is about to spend her third Christmas in Starship and donated the money her friends raised to buy her a playstation to the hospital because she thought they deserved it more than her. It turns out she touched your hearts and you the viewers responded. Mark Sainsbury popped down to Starship this morning.
