About Scrubs

Tuesdays at 10.30pm

Relive Scrubs from the early days with double episodes of JD, Turk and the gang from Sacred Heart.

About the show

Created by Bill Lawrence -- the co-creator/executive producer of "Spin City" -- and featuring innovative fantasy sequences and a slightly skewed look at doctors and patients, the series focuses on the out-of-the-ordinary experiences of medical resident John "J.D." Dorian as he embarks on his healing career at Sacred Heart, a busy teaching hospital crammed full of unpredictable staffers and patients - where humor and tragedy can and do merge paths at any time. The series stars Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, Ken Jenkins, John C. McGinley, Judy Reyes and Neil Flynn as the Janitor.

Partially based on the real-life experiences of technical advisor Dr. John Doris while he was an intern, the series focuses on medical resident John "J.D." Dorian (Zach Braff) as he makes the transition from being a medical student to becoming a practicing doctor. Joining J.D. in his exhilarating brave new world are his college buddy and best friend, Chris Turk (Donald Faison), an intern with the more elite surgical group, and J.D.'s fellow medical intern, the beautiful but socially awkward Elliott Reid (Sarah Chalke).

Keeping a watchful eye over these young doctors are the caustic chief of medicine, Dr. Bob Kelso (Ken Jenkins); the abrasive reluctant mentor, Dr. Perry Cox (John C. McGinley); the no-nonsense nurse, Carla Espinosa (Judy Reyes); and the Janitor (Neil Flynn), who baits and taunts J.D. on a regular basis.
