Sarah Bradley knew from a young age she wanted to be a performer. That being said, she initially pursued a more sedate career path, completing a finance and marketing degree at Waikato University before working for IBM for four years.
The pull of the stage was too strong, however, and Sarah left for New York in 1991 to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Several years of television and theatre followed, including a French-language tour of Moliere's The Imaginary Invalid, a movie review show on pay-per-view, the role of Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes and reporting stints for ABC and CNN.
Sarah returned home in 2001 to report and present for TV3 in Auckland. Getting the Good Morning co-host role on TV ONE has been a "dream come true," she says, allowing her to interview, report and do a bit of the performing she enjoys.
Sarah likes to sing jazz and does the odd gig at Wellington's night spots. She has always loved this genre of music which was nurtured during her years in New York.
In her spare time Sarah loves to write, scuba dive, ski and travel. Like all working mums, she wishes there were more hours in the day, but most of all, she enjoys spending as much time as she can with her young daughter, Melinda.
