Revellers at the 25th annual Marlborough wine festival have not let Blenheim's water crisis dampen their fun.
Local residents are boiling drinking water after e-coli bacteria was found in the town's supply. But while that has meant plenty of boiling for locals, the only thing boiling at Brancott Estate was the temperature.
"We're on a different supply here to town, so we've put water filters on all the drinking water today, just to to be absolutely safe and sure," says organiser Tom Trolove.
Festival goers could relax and enjoy the music, the food, the atmosphere and the wine, with some coming from as far away as Germany.
"It brings together people who enjoy wine and food and brings them together in a festive occasion. It's just fantastic," says Jamie Marfell from Montana Wines.
