multi-millionaires star in the New Zealand series of the popular
entrepreneurial programme Dragons' Den.
Dragons' Den is a television series that our viewers have embraced
and has become one of the most talked about shows on TV ONE. This
innovative series has performed extremely well in both the UK and
Australia, and with the high calibre of New Zealand entrepreneurs,
our own series had to be made.
Dragons' Den executive producer Jonathan Glazier says "It was as
exciting as it was daunting to audition people with such huge
reputations. They have a net worth of half a billion dollars and
they started from scratch, they have all been there and done it
themselves. We wanted five individuals with strong opinions,
different opinions, we've got that and more. Once we get them all
together, anything could happen!"
Dragons' Den sees would-be entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to a
panel of business tycoons who must then decide if they want to
invest their own money and expertise in the ventures.
