Do you have difficulty hearing? We'd like to hear from you!
Hearing Impairment and Quality of Life
Researchers at the University of Canterbury are seeking
participants for a nation-wide study examining the effects of
hearing impairment on quality of life.
Eligibility Criteria
- Over 18
years of age
- Any degree
of hearing loss
- Can
complete and return (postage paid):
o Two short standardized questionnaires
o One information sheet
o The results of the hearing test
Participants Receive:
- Free diagnostic hearing
test at a local clinic
- $20 petrol voucher to
cover cost of travel to clinic
- a supermarket voucher may be substituted
- Anonymity and
confidentiality

Auckland Women's Refuge Comedy/Auction Night Appeal
Event
The Auckland Women's Refuge in the central city is seeking your
support to help those suffering from domestic violence.
Five of the top NZ comedians are coming together for a comedy and
auction fundraising evening. Featuring: Urzila Carlson, Simon
McKinney, Rose Matafeo, Joseph Moore and Wellington based James
Nokise.
The Auckland Women's Refuge are also delighted to have the support
for the auction from people like cook Annabelle White with a
degustation dinner, walk on part and visit to Shortland
