Health authorities have found the cause of food poisoning which hit rugby fans at Auckland's Eden Park on the night of the Ireland Test.

Raw imported Korean oysters were found to contain norovirus, which affected 81 diners at Eden Park's corporate boxes.

Those most at risk were patrons of the Hall of Legends. Investigators found they were 27 times more likely to have eaten the imported oysters.

New Zealand-grown oysters were also served at the park, but they tested negative for the virus.
