Katherine Heigl is leaving the hit TV2 show Grey's Anatomy .
The actress, who plays Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens, has dropped out of contract negotiations over a salary dispute.
Heigl has told friends she is hurt and disappointed she receives less money that her co-stars, especially Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington.
Sources on the set also say tension has emerged after a spin-off series was announced featuring Kate Walsh's character, Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd. She is now getting the cold shoulder from her co-stars.
