An increasing number of New Zealand women are making special trips to Beverly Hills for plastic surgery.
The city's most famous surgeon Dr Robert Rey, who appears on the TV series Dr 90210, says having his treatments become a luxury item the rich must have.
He says they now talk about driving a Mercedes, wearing Gucci, and having work done by Dr Rey.
The 45-year-old Brazilian-born platic surgeon says the latest trend is vaginoplasty- he says the simple procedure, which involves work on the female genitalia, takes 30 minutes, and leaves a scar the size of a small dot.

He says well-to-do New Zealand and Australian women make the trip so they can boast to friends about it.
