A Kapiti Coast beach at the centre of a nudity debate was treated to a clean-up on Saturday, thanks to the naturists who want to use it.
A group of about 30 nudists spent the day cleaning the stretch
of sand just south of Otaki.
Though bad weather forced them to cover up, the group say they are
motivated by a love of nature.
The council is still deciding on whether to allow nudity on the
45-kilometre coastline.
