Home detention could be a possibility for a South Island woman who has admitted manufacturing methamphetamine.
Christchruch woman Nicky Cruickshank has pleaded guilty to manufacturing methamphetamine.
Cruickshank, 39, also sparked media attention in 1992 when her daughter, Amber-Lee went missing.
Cruickshank was charged late last year with manufacturing methamphetamine and reappeared at the High Court in Christchurch on Friday morning to enter the guilty plea.
Her trial was to be held on June 3 but since she has pleaded guilty, Cruickshank will now be sentenced on that date.
Cruickshank's defence counsel has asked that she be considered for home detention at an address in Nelson where she now lives with her partner.
Her two-year-old daughter went missing when the family moved to Kingston in Central Otago.
Amber-Lee's body has never been found.
