A website offering safety advice to teenagers has come under fire in Australia.
The Victoria State Government site gives tips on how to avoid drink spiking, resolve potentially violent situations, and avoid sexual assault.
But it is being criticised for offering information on how to take illicit drugs safely.
Kiwi drug educators are backing their embattled Australian counterparts.
Ross Bell of the New Zealand Drug Foundation says the safest advice is to not take drugs at all.
But he says once people have the facts about drug use, what they do is up to them.
