Trucks collide near Morrinsville

A truck with a consignment of dairy products has collided with another carrying aerosols east of Morrinsville in Waikato.

The resulting chemical spillage forced the closure of a section of State Highway 27 early Tuesday morning.

Motorists travelling north on that highway in the vicinity of Tatuanui have been diverted.

Both truck drivers suffered minor injuries.
