Pulse Utilities
Energy company Pulse Utilities says it is well on the way to offering consumers electricity at near wholesale prices. It says it will do it by renting out a meter, which allows householders to monitor their usage more accurately than ever before. Pulse Utilities aim to list on the NZAX this month. Breakfast Business talked to Pulse Utilities executive chairman Don Purdon.

Shipping New Zealand
New Zealand's domestic shipping companies are weighing up the government's draft plan to revive coastal shipping. The government says it is prepared to invest in the industry, and wants to double the amount of freight moved by 2040. Breakfast Business host, Simon Mercep talks to Shipping Federation President Rod Grout, who is also chief executive of NZ's biggest domestic shipping company, Pacifica.

Horticulture NZ
When Kiwis go shopping for fruit and veggies, they probably know some of it is imported like bananas from Ecuador or grapes from the USA. But Horticulture New Zealand says many shoppers may not realise just how much fresh produce we bring into the country, and better labelling is needed, so consumers know. Horticulture New Zealand's chief executive Peter Silcock talks to Simon Mercep from Wellington.
