A new internet broadband connections survey out on Monday morning has proved what many already thought.
Broadband performance on more than 12,000 computers was tested, with the aim of examining average download speeds.
Telecommunication giants Telecom and Vodafone were placed near the bottom of the list when it came to speed, as well as customer service and customer satisfaction.
Kiwi internet provider Orcon came out on top in the survey, followed by Telstra Clear.
