Survivors more at risk of bird flu
A week after the powerful earthquake on the Indonesian island of Java survivors have fled their houses and shelters after being awoken by several strong aftershocks.
More than 6000 people were killed when the quake hit central Java last weekend. The most pressing need is for tents and shelter.
British aid agency Merlin says it is concerned that some survivors could be exposing themselves to the deadly strain of bird flu.
It has found about 100 people sheltering in chicken sheds in a region where the disease has been reported.
