Terms and conditions
1) Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Terms and Conditions of entry. By entering this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of entry.
2) Entry is open to New Zealand residents only. Employees of Cadbury Confectionery Limited ("the Promoter") TVNZ and ACP Media Ltd and any agencies associated with this promotion, their affiliates and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
3) The winner of the Major Prize must be aged 16 years old or over, as at 14 September 2007. The Second and Runner Up Prizes are not age restricted.
HOW TO ENTER:
4) The Cadbury Pinky Got a Passion for Fashion competition ("the Promotion") commences on 19 June 2007 and closes at 11.59pm on 04 September 2007.
5) There will be one Major Prize comprising:
- Two days work experience with the Fashion Editor of Woman's Day magazine (working approximately 9am - 5pm)
- Economy flights and/or transfers to Auckland, 2 nights' accommodation, meals and transport to and from Woman's Day on each day
- Cadbury Pinky hamper valued at $150 RRP
- Cadbury Pinky t-shirt valued at $29.99 RRP
- Ugly Betty poncho and notepad
6) There will be one Second Prize comprising:
- Pink Motorola Motorazr V3 valued at $349 RRP
- Cadbury Pinky hamper valued at $100 RRP
- Cadbury Pinky t-shirt valued at $29.99 RRP
- Ugly Betty poncho and notepad.
7) There will be ten Runner-up Prizes each comprising:
- Cadbury Pinky product valued at $20 RRP
- Cadbury Pinky t-shirt valued at $29.99 RRP
8) Entries will be judged by the Editor and Fashion Editor of Woman's Day. The Major Prize will be awarded to the entrant aged 16 or over who best shows a true passion for fashion. Entries will be judged on 14 September from all valid entries received by 11.59pm on 04 September 2007.
9) The Second Prize will be awarded to the second best entry showing a true passion for fashion, as judged by the Editor and Fashion Editor of Woman's Day.
10) The 10 Runner Up Prizes will be drawn at random from all remaining, valid entries after the First and Second Prizes have been awarded.
11) To gain one entry into the promotion, entrants must go to the Ugly Betty competition page on www.tvnz.co.nz and submit an email of 100 words or less which explains who their fashion icon is and what makes them beautiful on the inside.
12) Entrants may enter as many times as they wish, provided that each entry is in a separate email and complies with these Terms and Conditions.
13) The 2 day work experience major prize must be undertaken at the Woman's Day offices, located at ACP Media Centre, Corner of Fanshawe and Beaumont Streets, Auckland.
14) Work experience dates are subject to the availability of the Fashion Editor of Woman's Day.
15) The Promoter takes no responsibility for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed/misdirected data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access telecommunications network services, or any other error or malfunction.
16) The Promoter takes no responsibility for late entries.
17) The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or attempting to act in a fraudulent or otherwise dishonest manner. All decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18) The winner of the Major Prize will be notified by the Promoter by email or phone to the name and email address or phone number provided by the entrant. This notification will be made before or on 17 September 2007 and will include information on how the Major Prize may be claimed. The prize will be awarded to the holder of the email address from which entry was submitted. The Promoter takes no responsibility for disputes arising as a result of entries submitted by entrants using an email address belonging to any other person.
19) The winner of the Major Prize will be published on www.tvnz.co.nz within 7 days of contacting the winner following the Major Prize Draw.
20) If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner of the Major Prize after a period of three months following the original draw date, having made reasonable efforts to do so, the winner's entry will be declared invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to randomly draw a new winner of the prize from eligible participants on the same Terms and Conditions as the original draw.
21) The winner of the Major Prize will not receive any form of payment, wage or salary for the work experience, other than the prizes listed in Clause 5 above.
22) The Promoter shall not in any way be liable for any costs, expenses, penalties, fines or other charges associated with the Major Prize, other than the costs of the prize description detailed in clause 5 above.
23) The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies shall not be liable in any way (including, without limitation, in negligence) for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications that may arise as a result of winning any prize.
24) The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any of the prizes with one of similar value without prior notice and all prizes are non transferable or exchangeable for cash.
25) The winner of the Major Prize will be selected from all entrants aged 16 years or over as at 14 September 2007. Entrants aged under 16 years will not be eligible for entry into the Major Prize judging, but will qualify for the Second and Runner-Up Prizes.
26) The prizewinner will be required to sign a form to release the Promoter from and indemnify the Promoter against, any and all liability arising from the use or participation in the prize.
27) The winner agrees to be available for reasonable publicity purposes without compensation including, but not limited to, photographs and interviews. Winners acknowledge that their name and town or city, may be televised on national television and be published in newspapers, magazines and on the internet.
28) All entries become the property of the Promoter.
29) The Promoter collects and holds personal information provided with each entry to be used for the purposes of the Promotion and in particular to notify prize winners and to verify prize winners' identities. All personal information provided by entrants will be held by TVNZ, 100 Victoria Street West, Auckland, New Zealand. Under the Privacy Act 1993, entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information. All personal information provided will be destroyed after the Major Prize has been claimed.
