Much has been made of Edward Cullen, he of the pasty complexion and an unfortunate disposition of wanting to drain one of one's life force.
And yet I still can't see why the big fuss. I certainly don't understand why Bella Swan is so torn between her vampire beau and her werewolf best friend (and yes, I do know how ridiculous that sentence sounds.) Which is why I'm a card-carrying member of Team Jacob.
Yes, Team Jacob. What's not to like? He's big, he's handsome (17-year-old boys certainly didn't look like THAT when I was at school), and he's toasty warm. All things that would be marvellous to snuggle up to on a cold night, as opposed to a cuddle with an icy-cold vampire.
Edward might have the intense "flashing" eyes that Stephenie Meyer mentions, oh, maybe 6,000 times in the first Twilight novel alone, but Jacob has the smile. A beautiful, fang-less smile. Watching Edward Cullen smile sends a shiver down my spine and not in a good way. Fear of having your throat violently ripped out might do it for some chicks, but not me.
Jacob is by far the more considerate, caring companion in Bella Swan's life. Edward is simply arrogant and selfish by comparison. Again, maybe those sorts of qualities are quite attractive to some girls. But unhappy ones, usually.
Being with a werewolf tends to give you a few more options in life, too, I would imagine. You wouldn't have to spend your life in cold, rainy climates, like Washington state. And you need not fear heading out in the sunshine with your beau in tow!
So, it's Team Jacob all the way for me. He's hot, he's adventurous, yet still very sweet. And Team Edward can keep their nancy vampire boy, because, to quote from one of the numerous Twilight shirts available on the internet, real men don't sparkle...

I am a Twilight Addict for sure! I am Team Jakeward all the way, lol. I reckon Eclipse should be the best version of all for movies... but the books kick butt much more! But if you've read the books, I don't think it matters at all whether this one will live up to expectations, cause the stories have already captured our hearts!

im totally addictive to the twilight sequals. i love Edward!!! breaking dawn would be better in to movies so thay can make the movies more detalled. Cant wait for elipse and breakingdawn to come out!!!

Well what can I say, I am a total Twilight addict! I love the two films so far- but love the books a whole lot more! They NEED to make Breaking Dawn into 2 films. There are just sooo many amazing parts to it that so many [important] things will end up getting missed out! It is kinda essential that it's made into two films! Please, make two films!

I ahve to say that Jacob is who I would go with because of his looks but he hasn't got the personality that Edward has. If I were Bella and Jacob had the personality of Edward you would have the best guy in the world!!
