Robert Pattinson insists he is single.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon actor, who stars as vampire Edward Cullen in the hit movie franchise, has attempted to quash the constant speculation romantically linking him to co-star Kristen Stewart , insisting he is too boring to be the subject of those stories.
He says: "I am single - almost everything that comes out about my private life is false.
"I think it happens because, really, there is not much to say about what I'm doing. While I am filming, I live practically like a recluse in a hotel.
"I come out only to work, and sometimes to go out for dinner. But, if you read the magazines, it seems that I have a frantic high life."
Speaking about his vampire character Edward, he says: "He doesn't know what to do. It's this typically male attitude when you find somebody you're in love with and your own doubts just keep messing up again and again. And then you realise as soon as you've messed up, you only have a few chances!
"I'm like that every time! I'll do that with every relationship I ever have. As soon as I like them I start beating myself up to a point of ridiculousness and then they hate me to the point of dumping me."
