Twilight proves to be Scream worthy

Fans of the vampire phenomenon Twilight got a treat at the 2009 Scream awards with star Taylor Lautner picking up a breakout acting award and revealing new New Moon footage.

The first film in the in the saga, Twilight, also took a whole host of Scream 2009 Awards including best fantasy film.

Twilight's resident wolf, played by Lautner, beat out vampire rival Robert Pattinson to take away the breakout male performance. Could Team Jacob be taking over Team Edward ?

However, Pattinson did win the best male fantasy actor gong, while his co-star and reported girlfriend Kristen Stewart, took the female equivalent. Pattinson and Stewart skipped the awards and missed out on accepting their awards.

Twilight fans would have left the awards ecstatic after Lautner revealed the new footage. Some of it has made it onto YouTube, but it is pretty poor quality. You can check it below.
