Well, this is fast becoming more of a debate than whether you're Team Edward or Team Jacob.
We told you about the decision to recast the role of Victoria in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse - but since the decision was announced to install Bryce Dallas Howard into the role instead of Rachelle LeFevre as villainous Victoria, there's been a lot of public fighting going on.
Lefevre released a statement earlier this week saying a schedule conflict was the reason.
And since then she's maintained she was "stunned" by the decision - due to her conflicting commitment to the independent film Barneys Version being only 10 days.
She told
Entertainment
Weekly
: "Although the production schedule for Eclipse
is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during
those 10 days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of
filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over
a 10 day overlap."
However, since then Summit Entertainment who are behind the
Twilight Saga has fired back with this statement (again from
Entertainment Weekly
)
And we quote: "It says that it had advised Lefevre in April of Eclipses August start date but was not informed of her commitment to Barney's Version until July 20, even though shed accepted the role in early June. Summit had acted in good faith that she would be available to fulfill her obligations both in terms of rehearsals and shooting availability for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, says the statement. We feel that her choice to withhold her scheduling conflict information from us can be viewed as a lack of cooperative spirit which affected the entire production. Contrary to Ms. Lefevre's statement, it is simply untrue that the Studio dismissed her over a ten day overlap. It is not about a ten day overlap, but instead about the fact that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is an ensemble production that has to accommodate the schedules of numerous actors while respecting the established creative vision of the filmmaker and most importantly the story."
New Moon is set for release in November and will be followed by Eclipse next June.

I am a Twilight Addict for sure! I am Team Jakeward all the way, lol. I reckon Eclipse should be the best version of all for movies... but the books kick butt much more! But if you've read the books, I don't think it matters at all whether this one will live up to expectations, cause the stories have already captured our hearts!

im totally addictive to the twilight sequals. i love Edward!!! breaking dawn would be better in to movies so thay can make the movies more detalled. Cant wait for elipse and breakingdawn to come out!!!

Well what can I say, I am a total Twilight addict! I love the two films so far- but love the books a whole lot more! They NEED to make Breaking Dawn into 2 films. There are just sooo many amazing parts to it that so many [important] things will end up getting missed out! It is kinda essential that it's made into two films! Please, make two films!

I ahve to say that Jacob is who I would go with because of his looks but he hasn't got the personality that Edward has. If I were Bella and Jacob had the personality of Edward you would have the best guy in the world!!
