The hysteria over Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson has reached such a crescendo, it appears film producers have beefed up security for their star.
Pattinson is currently in Vancouver filming the third of the Twilight films, Eclipse.
And his co-star, Justin Chon, who plays Eric Yorkie, told E! Online that Pattinson is staying in a house rather than a hotel during filming, due to security concerns.
"Security has been increased a lot," says Chon. "If Rob was to go out in public without anybody, I think it could be pretty dangerous."
Pretty dangerous, indeed. If the reaction to the New Moon trailer released last week and the release of new New Moon pictures is anything to go by, Pattinson would be well advised to keep indoors at all times!
