The makers of the Twilight films say rumours that five films are being made in the series are "premature".
The news comes after Twilight Saga: Eclipse cast member Boo Boo Stewart, 15, said on Friday that there would be five films in the Twilight Saga.
"We appreciate our young actor's enthusiasm for the franchise and his role," a Summitt Entertainment spokesperson told Us Magazine. "But his comments about the number of films were unfortunately uninformed and not accurate."
Eclipse, the third film in the series is currently being filmed in Canada with a release date of June 30 2010. Stewart plays wolfpack member Seth Clearwater.
New Moon, the second in the saga, will be released in November. There are four books in the Twilight Saga, the final one being Breaking Dawn.
