Twilight fans - make sure to mark the MTV Video Music Awards in your calendar.

Organisers of the event have just revealed the show will feature more exclusive footage from The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which is due for release in November.

They aim to go one better than the premiere of the film trailer at the MTV Movie Awards earlier in the year, by showing an "extra long clip" from the new movie.

The MTV VMAs take place on September 14 (NZT).
