Have you entered this month's U host competition yet?
U host is giving you the chance to host an entire month of
Sunday nights on U!
Here's what we'll need from you if you win the chance to be
the U host:
- As part of the prize, you'll get to introduce yourself to NZ and tell us a bit about yourself, as well as introduce the shows for your month. We'll do this by recording a stream of a video chat. Don't worry, it won't be live, we'll help you through it and make you look great.
- We'll be recording various clips to use across 'U' to promote your show. This should only take an hour or so.
- If you win you'll be beamed into the living rooms of kiwis all over the country. You'll have to be happy to appear on screen and introduce 'U host' for a whole month.
Important information:
- This prize is only open for entry to people with access to a computer with a webcam and a broadband internet connection. The computer will need either 'Skype', or if it's a Mac we can use the built in 'iChat' software. We ask that you enter only if you have access to these facilities.
- The winner will have their video footage, face, full name, location and other relevant details made available on the channel and used for promotional purposes in various media. We ask that you only enter if you are comfortable with this kind of exposure.
- The winner will be drawn at random, however we reserve the
right to re-draw if we deem a winner or their behaviour to be
unsuitable for the U host segment. We ask that you only enter
if you are comfortable and confident being on TV, and you are happy
to get involved both on and off screen.
